Hometown Kid Gives Back. . .

Local baseball great, Billy Butler, originally with the Kansas City Royals and now playing with the New York Yankees has donated his PINK BAT in the fight against breast cancer.
He used this bat professionally, has signed it, and it is MLB authenticated (a registered piece of MLB history)
The bat is being auctioned through the RUN FOR THE CURE and will be available for bid until 9 pm on Monday, October 31.

The auction is titled:
Billy Butler's Bat For The Cure

100% of the proceeds will go to the Eastern Idaho Public Health and be used in the fight against breast cancer.

Information: Please read through this entire section to check for registration deadlines and race week activities. This is the 11th Annual Run for the Cure. This event is part of Eastern Idaho's Pink Ribbon Campaign and focuses on raising awareness and funds at the race to find a cure for breast cancer.

Additional Information

The Run for the Cure is Idaho's largest event of its kind and highlights the Eastern Idaho Falls Pink Ribbon Campaign. Everyone starts and finishes in Freeman Park and will enjoy a motivational opening ceremony, music, entertainment, refreshments and a great raffle. Be part of a life changing event!!!

The introduction of "Teams" has been very successful (last year's largest team had more than 100 members) and we provide team shirt colors for groups, families, or organizations that have 14 or more participants register together.

To be a team we must have your shirt color selection and shirt sizes no later than Wednesday, September 14. No changes can be made to teams after September 14.  Team Leads please have all members registered and all fees paid no later than the 14th, we cannot extend the deadline.

Registration ENDS at MIDNIGHT Friday,  September 23, 2016

Late registration will be available Friday,  September 23.  Race day registration will be available Saturday morning at Freeman Park from 8 to 8:40.  Individual registration $30     Family registration $90

Please note that those who register for the 5K Run between Saturday, September 24 and Saturday October 1 WILL NOT be chip timed.  The event clock will be running and you will need to check your time by it.
