Saturday, July 11, Race Day
6:00 AM - Transition area opens. From this point on if you want to get in the transition area you need to have a race number. No race number, no getting in the transition area. You will also not be allowed to exit the transition area with gear unless your race number matches that of your bike/gear. 6:00 AM to 7:12 AM - Transition area opens and closes, regardless of whether you are competing in the Sprint or Olympic distance you must have your transition area set up and be OUT of the area by 7:20. It is not safe for our Olympic athletes to have Sprint athletes still setting up their transition area when they are coming through during the transition area, thank you.

10:00 AM - Post-race celebration starts and will continue until all athletes finish, yup every single one.
11:00 AM - BBQ and award ceremonies start. You are going to want to stick around for this! We give out the tons of raffle prizes (your race number is your raffle entry, there is no additional cost) and will have medals for overall winners, and for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd in each age group in each division, a special medal for the fastest swim, bike, and run split for each distance for male and female as well as our honored Torchbearer Award.
We will again provide our great BBQ during the post-race activities.
All registered participants can enjoy the BBQ for free.
We also offer the opportunity for friends and family to enjoy the BBQ.

To assure that we have plenty for everyone (we fed over 500 last year) we ask that you make arrangements for your family and friends as soon as possible.
We will have jump inflatables for our younger guests. These activities will open to event guests at 9 and we will have volunteers to assist the children from 9 to noon.
These will be set up on the grassy area close to the BBQ and Awards Ceremony area.
For those who may want to rent a wetsuit and/or bike, we would encourage you to go to our sponsor Bill’s Bike and Run.
They are located in Snake River Landing in Idaho Falls. The phone number is: 522-3341
We encourage EVERYONE to follow the USAT directive to:
“All participants have the responsibility to review the swim, bike, and run courses before the race. They should walk, ride, of drive each course and become familiar with all the elements, i.e., turns, road conditions, number and location of aid stations, before starting the race.”.
